Pros: Almost as much pop as the Louisville Slugger CP91 coach pitch bat, but MUCH more durable.
Cons: Appears identical to last year's Miken Heat coach pitch bat (other than the paint job) - we thought we were getting something newer and better.

Pros: light, nice balance, good pop, nice grip. My son was too sick to finish the game, but still managed to pop one within 12 yards of the fence in his first at bat. The name seems to be popular with the kids...
Cons: A little too light for bigger kids (I know this may be considered blasphemy by some), end piece seems a bit poorly designed.

Pros: Iam against big barrel bats because is does not teach kids on eye hand cordination. i coach and the team that beats us all the time use this bat for the whole team. One of my parents saw this and baught one. Result is can't beat join them and this bat does live up to its name "FREAK". I have a power hitter that is hitting the fence with it. If you want to compete get it or just watch and observe.
Cons: This is just a bandaid because the next level is kid pitch.

Pros: This bat has alot pop in it. My son hits the ball better with this bat than the coach's son TPX Omaha Coach pitch bat. It is a lot more durable than the Omaha, too. Good Bat!!!
Cons: The white shows ball marks on the bat.

Pros: This bat looks great.Big hit with the kids.Light wt.even the younger kids can use it.
Cons: Very,very small sweet spot. not very much pop,I don't know what some of the other reviews were talking about when they said it has alot of pop,we are 3 weeks in with this bat and haven't even hit one off the fence and 8 out of the 12 kids use it. You get what you pay for.Thinking about getting the senior freak and giving this bat to my 5 yr. old

Pros: Good bat for YOUNGER kids 5-7 My son strokes the ball with this bat when he swings it the RIGHT WAY..Bigger kids need SENIOR bats, GREAT BAT FOR SMALL PLAYERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: This bat is very nice looking and performs really well. Since everyone on my son's team had there own bat I thought I would buy him his own, but by the looks of it everyone on the team is using his bat..These kids are hitting really well off this bat..IT HAS GREAT POP!!!

Pros: This bat is awesome!!! I am kicking myself for not getting it for my son last year. 10 hits in his first 11 at bats. My son is now hitting 4th in the lineup and his nickname is "The Freak". Great service by Justbats. Received shipment in 3 days.

Pros: Bought one of these for my son. He hit the ball very well with it. All the other kids on the team wanted to use it and they hit the ball well also.
Cons: Bat cracked after about 100 balls hit. Not just a small crack but a four inch crack that rendered the bat unusable. Returned the bat for the same bat hoping it wont happen again. Probably should have went with another bat but I'm going to give it another chance. The bat performed great until the break.

Cons: This bat is a huge disappointment. I purchased this bat to replace a TPX-CP91 coach pitch bat (great pop but it constantly cracked with multiple replacements). The Miken Freak has no "Pop" and left my son frustrated with his hitting.

Pros: just got the "Freak" and it performs as advertised. First my son used it to hit the ball into center-first time he has hit out of the infield all yr, then 6 more kids used it with great success. Even our kids hitting under 200 went 2/3. Almost beat the #1 undefeated team in a heartbreaker-final 15-14. It's worth the money to see your kids smile after they hit with the Freak!

Pros: My son plays on a 7u select team. We have 6 of these bats in the team and they all perform awesome. We first used it in the batting cage to break it in.. Kids love it. The Omaha CP91 didn't have a chance, it craked the first game. The Omaha is just a fictional bat, anybody can become a superstar!! The Freak is by far the best bat so far!!!

Pros: Got one yesturday my son went 6for6 he was not getting around on ball so I got one. Least amount I have spent on a bat but so far most on moneies worth. 3 other bats Stealth 08,Catalys 08, and Vexxum 09 all 2 3/4 drop -10 all 200+
Cons: I pray it holds up and doesn't break if so I will buy another and send current in to be replaced.

Pros: I am a firm believer that 7 yr olds should learn how to hit with a small barrel bat. My 7 yr old received this bat and payed 3 games with it so far he is 8 for 8 with three triples and 5 doubles. Awesume for hitters confidence, ball rockets even on off center hits!!

Pros: The bat worked so well that other kids starting using it and their batting percentage increased. My son went from hitting singles and doubles to triples and home runs. The parents started to give me money for the bat to make it a team bat. What we call "The Freak" performed so well that our team beat better teams in runs and gave the #1 team a scare. Fielding was another issue.

Pros: We got the Miken Freak for our All Star T-ball team, I noticed some of the better teams were using it, so I got it for my son, and now, 10 of the 12 players are using it, this bat adds a good 30% to the power of each kids swing. Where some of the kids used to get it on a line to the edge of the outfield, they are now bouncing it on one hop to the fence. Simply put, this bat ROCKS.
Cons: None that I can see, we are killing the ball now in games and in practice with this bat.

Pros: Awesome right out of the package. This bats hits harder than any bat we have used. All the kids want to use it. Excellant durability and well constructed.

Pros: Seems like a solid bat. We've only had it a few weeks but after about 100 hits my 5 yr old son continues to hit the ball hard with it.
Cons: Maybe I expected more based on the reviews here. My boy used an Easton Stealth ($40) last season and was hitting hard shots to the outfield consistently off the pitch. Toward the end of the season he needed a bigger bat so I picked him up a Demarini F3 ($50) t-ball bat and he hit that quite well too. I expected he'd be almost hitting the fence on the fly with the highly-hyped, high-priced Miken.

Pros: We have had the bat for 9 days and have seen great pop from the start. My son was able to get great bat speed and hit it well.
Cons: It cracked after about 125 hits. It performed well until this point and hope this crack is just a "Freak" defect.

Pros: Bat has been more durable than the CP91
Cons: It doesn't have the same pop the CP91 had, son played with it for 3 games and decided it just wasn't for him, he likes the 26 16 worth bat better

Pros: great bat! But needs to be broken in first. My son has had it for three seasons so far and it is way hotter then when he first got it. Two other kids bought this bat too and they also love how it performs.
Cons: None so far. No cracking. only thing that came off was the little sticker emblem on the knob, no big deal there.

Pros: Light, good trampoline. Should get better from what I hear. Decent price. Super fast shipping.
Cons: None yet but I gotta get used to the flat sound of the ball's impact. The sound is deceiving. Sounds like a dead bat but the ball comes back at the mound A LOT faster.

Cons: Shattered sweetspot during use. Sent back for warranty replacement. They sent another and exact same thing happened 3 weeks later. I returned the bat again, and the warranty was denied. They wouldn't even offer a discount to be applied to another bat. I will NEVER buy from Miken again!

Pros: Fine for leagues using the soft strike balls...if using reg baseballs, swing in games only (buy a cheaper bat for practice) & do not use in cages to extend the life of bat. Recommend only for those playing at a higher level in 5-7 (sm 8 yr) age range - unnecessary otherwise.
Cons: Got thru 3/4 of the season. Do not buy this (or any $$$ bat) for a child that still hits the fence, rocks, etc - have seen too many dads throw $$ away for a kid not serious or mature enough to care for an pricey bat. As a coach, I would rather see 5-7 yr learn basic mech using a tball bat. Mechanics & approp len/wt are most important. Dont let other review lead you to think it's the bat.

Pros: GREAT LOOKING BAT. BETTER THAN AVERAGE TRAMPOLINE. MONSTER 2-3/4 BARREL. GOOD BAT FOR THE MONEY.
